Susan Miskiman has over 10 years of experience in health care administration and staff development. The first four years of her health care career were with the Winnipeg Health Authorities, Human Resources, Staff Development Office. She currently holds a coordinator position at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH) in Edmonton, Alberta.
Lindsay McClelland is a staff Respiratory Therapist at a teaching hospital in Toronto, where she works in both the neonatal intensive care unit and the emergency room. She lives in the suburbs with her husband and 10 month old son. When not working, Lindsay enjoys skiing, running, travelling and wine tasting.
Leslie Slabon manages the Chest Program at an acute care community hospital in Kitchener, Ontario. The program includes a 27 bed inpatient unit, 4 bed surgical step-down unit, multiple outpatient respiratory clinics, and respiratory therapy. Over her 25 year career she has held various positions including bedside nurse, nurse educator, and most recently administrator. A life-long student, Leslie will graduate with her Masters in Health Studies from Athabasca University this year. Leslie seeks to positively influence care provision within the organization through continued implementation of evidenced-based practices.
Elaine Lyall has 20 yrs of experience working as a Social Worker in Central Labrador. She is currently employed by Labrador Grenfell Health and has spent most of her career in a dual position as Mental Health counsellor and an inpatient Social Worker. Elaine has always enjoyed the opportunities of a varied workload that comes from working in a rural setting. Her current interest is in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
Brian Radford has worked as an RN in the Palliative Care unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario for the past 15+ years. He has also has been a Clinical Nursing Instructor at George Brown College, and has been a volunteer Preceptor numerous times for consolidation nursing students at Sunnybrook.
